"The team put in three stunning clear rounds, Dave was last to run and as we did not need a safe clear round I asked him to push for time which resulted in 5 faults. In the team only 3 out of the 4 rounds count.

Dave & Rusty have qualified for the final on Sunday

Opening Ceremony - 19th May

Today was the opening Ceremony for the whole BSD World Championship event, which included the introduction of all countries and Judges etc.

Due to the miserable weather we had been experiencing all day, the Ceremony was quite short allowing plenty of time to get back to the hotel and get dinner. In the end, the entire Team went to a restaurant called "Olympia" which sold great food and the guy spoke English!

Training & Vet Check - 20th May

Today we had Training for the entire Team and also the Vet Check.

All the team members passed the Vet Check and then the Team had a total of 16 minuites training on the quite sandy Astro-turf, and the equipment which of course is very different to the UK stuff.

A lot of people were worried about the Astro-Turf surface that they had to run on, as it's quite short pile, however the dogs handled well and so far there doesn't seem to be any burnt pads(fingers crossed)!

The contacts are rubber coated, with sort of riges on it although our dogs don't seem to be bothered at all with it. The wall that is being used is made entirely of Metal for each of the peices, although apart from the poles everything is in Metal.

Now we have the rest of the day to rest before the main competition starts tomorrow, which includes the Individual and Team runs...

Arriving - 18th May

We have finally arrived at the Hotel safely just after 10pm, after leaving from our meeting place in the UK at 6.30.

The Hotel is somewhere that is perhaps not somewhere you would expect dogs to be allowed.
